Hi, i just want to give you an update on Leo.

Saturday night he had a stroke - we rushed him to 2 emergency different vets - he was having seizures, couldnt walk and his eye we all glassy - the fisrt vet said its a tumour in the brain and that was blind as his eye did not repond to any light. She suggested we aneasthetise him.

I was in a state. He was keeping on rolling his head backawrs which is a sign of brain damage. Luckily when we reached the 2nd vet they decided to keep him overnight, push him full of painkillers, anti biotic and anti eppileptic drugs. The next morn they said we could fetch him . He was very disorientated, didnt recognise anfyone, couldnt walk...The vet gave 5 weeks worth of meds which he must finish and if that doesnt help it's definately a tumour or cancer which has a very bad prognosis.

Leo is up today - walking around the garden - remembers his name, can see properly and even managed a purr. He still often goes all glassy eyed and confused but at least he is alive and has quality of life.Lotsa things he doesnt remember. Keeping an eye on him. I am so glad he is alive and getting better. A true MIRACLE!!!!!
